Most women will have endured frustrating customer service experience, thanks to the misogynistic attitudes of certain individuals. These women have all been annoyingly overlooked when trying to purchase cars, homes, and even fishing equipment! It just goes to show that society still has a long way to go.

Annoying Cold Caller

This woman had a particularly agonizing experience with a cold caller that repeatedly asked to speak to her husband. She kept the caller hanging on for days, until her husband finally returned home, only to inform them that she was in charge of family finances.

Where's Your Husband?

Even in today's society, many people expect the 'man of the house' to take care of things like bills, renovation work, DIY, and finances. Unfortunately, many women are used to being patronized when discussing those matters.

But, sometimes misogyny can pop up in unexpected places! This woman was left flabbergasted when she attempted to pick up a package that was addressed to both her and her husband. They refused to give her the item, asking for her husband instead. Why?!

Buying a Truck

There's a running theme in these stories, often involving women being totally ignored by salespeople when trying to buy a new car. The dealers often automatically assume that their boyfriends, husbands, and fathers are in charge of the purchase because apparently, women are not responsible or financially stable enough to buy their own automobiles.

This woman proved an ignorant salesman wrong. Upset that she was being ignored, she approached a different member of staff. Within minutes her purchase was complete.

Assuming Men Control Finances

When your child is preparing to go to college, there are so many things to consider. Not only do they need to meet the admission criteria, but they need to be able to pay for tuition!

This family had a meeting with the admissions office at one university in an attempt to sort out the fees and finances of it all. The rude staff member continually addressed questions to the father, despite the fact that mom was in charge of the money.
