This woman's daughter experienced her time with babysitters in a way her mom could never have anticipated, and she found out about it a little too late. The Astors

The Astor family was, in theory, an adorable one. Parents Nina and Tim had a storybook love story. They'd been together for 15 years and married for nine of them.

The two had a daughter, Emery, who was just eight years old. The family of three lived in their cute house in Ottawa, Ontario. Tim was a software developer, and Nina was a stay-at-home mom who also ran a healthy baking blog on the side. But the family's picture-perfect happiness was short-lived.

Betrayed by Love

Nina had been harboring a deep suspicion over her husband's behavior in the recent past. He'd been a little cold and distant and had been checking his phone endlessly.

Finally, Nina couldn't turn a blind eye anymore and asked Tim outright about his behavior. Her husband vehemently denied everything at first, but Nina wouldn't give up. He soon confessed to having an affair with a woman at his work.

The Final Separation

The Newly Single Mom
